Chair fits the genre of an outback musical...where the city meets the mythic "bush" and lives are changed...Chair tells the story of a fraught reunion between Bill, Tessa and David, a city journalist. David is a childhood friend of the Williams family, the son of a painter who used to visit Andy's Waterhole when Bill's wife was still alive. It is because of Prue, his lover, an older woman who deals in antiques, that David returns to visit Andy's after a long absence. |
