| Description |
"The dark horse in the program is Cherie Knott. A painter and poet who does not dance, Knott composed her work largely from the dancers' responses to her images of environmental trauma. The first section is rounded and low to the ground with an overwhelming expression of nurturing. In the second section, the mood is ritualistic as seemingly legions of dancers leap with fire in their bellies." |
