Description A Sydney Festival AT HOME original, this ‘cinematic’ adaptation of Francis Poulenc's monodrama in one act, based on poet-artist Jean Cocteau's libretto of the same name, charts the final and tormented telephone conversation between two, soon to be, ex-lovers.

Shot and recorded on a shoestring budget in just a few days in Sydney Australia, this experimental hybrid of an operatic performance for the screen was conceived to bend some of the assumptions around what opera is or ‘should’ be.
