Description George Sorlie's 1938 show, including a showing at Gladstone Carnival week, includes a first marquee theatre with performances by the North China troupe, supported by Scotty and Dolly (Scotty McKinnon and Dolly Donohue), Mollie Molloy, Valentine and Reid, the Cracknells, Rae Foster, Peter Brooks, Frank Walsh, and a ballet by the Eight Sunkist Girls. In the second marquee is: Royal command juggler George Hurd, the Moreni Trio, the Marcellas, the Weatherly Sisters, the popular yodelling Newtons, the Russell Bros, Marjorie Lou, Renee Dixon, Paul Du Rayonne, Tom Lewola, Nancy Muirhead, Ronie Shand and Eddie Williams, and the Eight Rhythm Rascals ballet.
