The place of worship erected some years ago by our Chinese residents at Emerald Hill having for some time been found inadequate to the purposes for which, it was built, it has recently been pulled down and replaced by a large structure of some architectural pretensions. The new building was, about a fortnight ago, opened with much ceremony. |
