Description On Saturday, September 9, the Minerva Theatre will open after a brief season of pictures with the breezy French comedy, A Kiss From Klki, adapted from the Le Zebra, of Armand and Nancy. [This] will be preceded by a miniature revue, a novelty to the stage in Australia, where curtain raisers are almost an unknown quantity. This will include the celebrated band maestro Roy Fox and his Canadians, the Bodenwieser Ballet, who, under the personal direction of Madame Gertrude Bodenwieser herself, will present a new ballet, Streamline; Magda Neeld, the soprano, who made such sensational appearances with Jack Hilton's Band, and Joaquin Garay, the Mexican troubadour, who introduced The Man on the Flying Trapeze In the famous Clark Gable film, It Happened One Night.
