Description |
"Photocopies is a collage of religious mannerisms, a wash of incantations, trances, flagellations, contemplations and processions of fanatical devotees."
"Photocopies of God presents images of a theatre struggling to move beyond the exchange of desires, beyond even the carnal itself. The performers attempt to break the endless circle of impersonation and to submit themselves to the supreme gaze. But perhaps the attempt is unnecessary. In the absence of a holy theatre, maybe a good copy is sufficient." |
