Description |
""The context for Heartland was inspired by a novel which echoed the Robinson Crusoe story. A man has driven into the desert, wrecked his car and is living in it when a woman arrives on the scene"".
"Heartland is a movement theatre inspired by Michael Tournier's novel Friday, itself a retelling of the Robinson Crusoe story. Through gesture and movement, supported by text and soundscape, the two performers explore the notion of Landscape, and its relationship with those who dare to lock horns with it. It is also a story of transformation. For there is an inner landscape to be confronted as well." |
