Description Takes a 60s singing group aspiring to out-Morrison the Howard Morrison Quartet and kills off most of them in a car crash early on. This enables Kouka to satirise notions of heaven but leaves the surviving member of the group somewhat stranded back on earth. This character (played by Hemi Rurawhe) gets married, has children, buys a house, loses a job, gets involved in issues like Bastion Point and generally raises his Maori consciousness over a period of 25 years, while remaining in spiritual contact with his long-dead mates. One way or another, they all get together for a triumphant concert.
