| Description | Presented by performers from Patea. Opening at Mt Egmont, 1982, the story of childhood sweethearts Jay and Gabrielle is enacted, starting with their loss of jobs when the Patea freezing works are closed. Gabrielle goes to King's Cross Sydney and becomes a prostitute and drug addict, and Jay becomes addicted to drugs and violence.
