| Description |
Set in medieval Scotland. Gillie Coxill's authentically constructed natural fibre and animal skin costumes do much to capture the times. So do the woad stripes slashed across the men's faces as warlike tribal markings….The Weird Sisters are not depicted as down-and-dirty dealers in evil. Dressed in clean, flowing garb, they observe and interpret supernatural forces beyond the ken of most mere mortals and don dark crone masks to freak out passing pawns in the predestined game…. |
