Description Everybody has heard of him. The world's most famous little wooden boy, Pinocchio. We all know he was made of wood until he eventually made good, and the blue fairy changed him into a real boy…This version is set in the 1930's, when many people were coming to this part of the world to escape the restlessness of Europe. From the wharves of Wellington, a sad Geppetto recounts the tale of his lost son, until he decides to row back to Italy, only to be swallowed by a giant fish and eventually rescued by Pinocchio himself.
