Description A Scottish couple let their ambition get the better of them, with tragic results. Interesting production that used Scottish (or 'stage-Scottish') accents and with gimmicky modern anachronisms that jarred against the action. E.g., Malcolm's young son expertly cleans and loads a pistol - but is still killed by Macbeth's thugs with what looked like a butter-knife.
