Description One of Circa's largest-ever shows, with touches of kiwiana added. As members of the audience, we are also a visible presence because it is staged in the traverse, on a woodworm-riddled platform set designed by Nicole Cosgrove and lit by Martyn Roberts. A strong overlapping effect is achieved by having characters walk the outside length of the stage before entering the scene proper and Jeremy Cullen's insistent music, most often led by Toby Laing's trumpet, stresses the tone of an orchestrated populist uprising.
