Vladimir and Estragon wait …. and wait … by the side of a road. Pozzo and Lucky pass through. 'The stage set consisted of little save bizarre representations of a power pole, a fence and a tree, a very battered ramp, a collection of ashcans, old boxes, and general filthy confusion'. |
