Description Based on the novel by Michael O'Leary….While Simon O'Connor's stage adaptation has brought more structure and coherence to O'Leary's stream of consciousness story, he has maintained non-naturalistic modes by using song, chant and a poetic, blarney-riddled yarn-spinning style. Billed as 'a psycle drama' (the patriarch Padraic is reputed to have made the first bicycle in Aotearoa and bicycles are used to great effect throughout) the play revels in wordplay - for example, 'I'm Malone;' 'Well aren't we all?'…
