Contemporary production. In the new production, a modern Italian cruise liner carrying a passenger list of the rich and powerful is wrecked on an apparently deserted island off the coast of Peru. The survivors discover a land filled with statues of ancient gods and spirits commanded by the necromancer Prospero, a man bent on revenge. |
