| Description |
Salem witch trials as a parallel to the McCarthy era communist witch hunts. When the young girls of a closed religious sect are discovered experimenting with devil-worship in the woods they try to save themselves by denouncing their neighbours as witches and Satanists. A chain of events is set in place that sees the innocent implicated by a community in the grip of fear and suspicion. |
