Description |
A drug addicted girl seeks refuge in a cathedral only to be caught in a violent clash between competing values in the Church. The imminent demolition of the old building draws out heated arguments over the role and function of the Church, gender politics and the way the Church handles financial realities alongside its spiritual function. The girl becomes an historical and very human focal point for the discussion and consideration of social and cultural values. |
