Description The performance had elements of mime, movement and clowning, and though it had a recognisable framework, improvisation was a major element. It consisted of a series of set pieces which flowed into one another using some or all of the group's five members … punctuated by the effective use of synthesiser and bass guitar. In one piece, the undulating movements of the performers echoed the fluid sounds of the guitar; in another the staccato noise of the synthesiser controlled a performer's actions by halting and re-directing him. The first sketch of the show also used a video camera and screen to show off Alan Clay's face and his ability to change his eyes into enormous staring orbs….
