Description Funeral Games was first presented by Yorkshire Television on 25 August 1968. It was the transitional play between Loot and What the Butler Saw in which Orton tried to solidify the stylistic advances of language and logic in Loot. It dealt with charity as part of an ITV series on 'the Seven Deadly Virtues'.
