| Description |
A collection of pieces by the American poet, novelist and playwright Sylvia Plath. It includes one dramatic piece - Three Women - and several of Plath's poems, written in the last nine months of her life. The poetry selections all focus in different ways and to varying degrees on the attitudes of women to their children. Three Women is set in and around a maternity ward, and tells of the experiences of three women, each there with different motives and conflicting emotions. |
