Wordvirus was based on the beat poets of the 1950s. Lenart: It was a 'cut up of beat poetry. We took all the poetry from Ginsberg, Burroughs, Jack Kerouac's prose, Diane DiPrima – chopped them all up and put them together into five acts that reflected America, 50s politics and the artists'. |
