| Description |
Mrs Hannibal Williams recites As You Like It - an intellectual treat. Mrs Williams is undeniably an accomplished reciter, and the many beauties of the delightful pastoral comedy lost none of their attractiveness by that lady's delineation. The characters were admirably conceived, and were pourtrayed with pleasing fidelity. It is no easy feat of memory to recite the piece from beginning to end, but Mrs Williams succeeded without a falter, and the many manifestations of approval must have been decidedly gratifying to her. |
