After which, a variety of singing and dancing. The whole to conclude with the laughable farce entitled The Irish Lion. NOTE the same ad appears on 9 July, advertising the performance on 14 July, as a benefit for the late Sergeant Major's widow. So either the date was changed, or this was a second performance. And then an ad on 16th July says the performance will take place on 19th July. A note on 23 July clarifies that the performance was deferred 'in consequence of the inclemency of the weather', and 'proved a bumper', raising the sum of £12.
