MR. W. H. FOLEY has the honor to inform the inhabitants of Auckland and Vicinity, that he has arrived with his Circus and Gymnastic troupe. This company consists of some of the first talent of the day, among which is the renowned trick mare 'LUCY ' whose performances must be seen to be believed, having been pronounced by His Excellency 'the Governor, who, in Company with his Staff, honored the Circus with their presence in Nelson, a short time since, to be the best trained horse of the day. Mr F. is an old and experienced caterer for public amusements, and he flatters himself that the Entertainments he intends giving here, which will be of the most chaste and select, will not fail to please all who may honor his Circus with their presence. The Circus pavilion is situated in the rear of the Greyhound Hotel. For further particulars see bills of announcement. W. H. FOLEY, Proprietor. D. O'Neill, Agent and Treasurer. Auckland, December 10th, 1855. |
