| Further Information |
The comedy was followed by songs performed by Signora Palma and Mr J. Marshall. Between the musical numbers, Mr Hoskins gave a reading from Henry VIII, and then made a farewell speech to Christchurch. The evening concluded with the operetta Cox and Box, performed by amateurs. There was an annoying drunk in the front of the stalls who had to be ejected by a policeman.
