Description The New Moon is a thrilling and romantic story set in the days of the French Revolutionary period. Robert Mission, an aristocrat of France, kills a noble and escapes from France to New Orleans. There he is bought as a bondsman by M. Beaunoir, and the story weaves through plot and counter-plot to a happy conclusion. The scenes range from New Orleans to a thrilling shipboard battle to an island in the Carribean.
