Alderman Groat has married a beautiful young woman. However she cannot speak. He calls in medical men who operate on her. The result is she is no longer dumb - but now she never stops talking. It is driving the alderman mad. He calls in the medical men but they cannot make her dumb again - so he asks them to make him deaf. |
