Description Shines a light on the complex emotional bonds of New Zealand's wartime history. Set against the backdrop of the siege of Monte Cassino in World War 2, the play celebrates some of the common ground between the maori soldiers and zItalians - family, food, song, mischief, a love of wine, and a passion for the ladies.
