Description Remembering WW1: Four dance works. Gareth Farr was commissioned to compose music for a 20-minute ballet set to a brass band for Salute, which commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing, and wrote Dear Horizon. Also commissioned: Passchendaele by choreographer Neil Ieremia and composer Dwayne Bloomfield, and other pieces by European choreographers Jiri Kylian and Johan Kobborg. … Haunting melodies and percussive volleys of brass, performed superbly by th New Zealand Army Band, erupt from the pit for three of the works. …
