| Description |
Reade, a boy from a London Council School is award a bursary to a public school. He is very unhappy there and at one point tries to run away. He is taken under the wing of one of the new tutors, Mr Lorraine and makes a success of his time there. Later Lorraine wants Reade to apply for a university place at Cambridge. |
