| Description |
The cast is an all-woman one and the action takes place within the walls of an exclusive dressmaking and millinery establishment. The dialogue is witty and there is a wide diversity of characters who combine to form a play of absorbing interest. The audience is given a glimpse behind the scenes, not only of a large women's store, but of the lives and loves of those who work there. As may be expected both from the cast and the setting, frocking plays an important and attractive part. |

| Further Information |
A shortage of men owing to the war caused the Dunedin Repertory Society to fall back for its latest production on Aimee and Philip Stuart's comedy drama, 'Nine Till Six,' which boasts a cast of 16 women, and was presented by the society some five or six years ago. (ODT review).
