Description The problem presented by a German girl who is brought to her husband's home towards the end of the war. She succeeds in winning her way into the affections of most of the members of the family, with the exception of Aunt Eleanor Dawson, M.P., a violent and intractable hater of the German nation and everything Teutonic, including Frieda. Things might have ended happily enough but for the unexpected arrival in the home of Frieda's brother, Richard, an unrepentant Nazi.
