Explores a young family, helmed by solo mother jess, trying to survive on the breadline in present day Aotearoa. Burdened by bills, social welfare and a small pay packet, she faces huge expectations and two teenage twins eager to explore the world without her. Whole battling to provide a life for her family with dignity, she decides it is time to think ab out herself for a change, and meets Tahi online.
