Description This premier production of Robert Lord's new play Joyful and Triumphant looks at a pakeha family as it adapts to the ever changing society surrounding it over a forty year period. Recession, depression, boom, bust, the sexual revolution, biculturalism and rugby tours form the background to this family's saga. Directed by Susan Wilson, this funny and moving exploration of family bonds was specially commissioned by Circa from Robert Lord.
