Description By command, and under the distinguished patronage of his Excellency the Lieutenant Governor who has signified his intention of honouring the performances with his presence. Ladies and gentlemen wishing to secure private boxes, are most respectfully solicited to make an early application, as the number of box tickets will be limited upon this occasion. On Thursday evening, December 17, 1846, the entertainments will commence with Sir E L Bulwer's celebrated play of The Lady of Lyons, or Love and Pride. Solo Violoncello - Mr Thompson. To be followed by Our Mary Anne. Solo-Cornet á Piston (from La Somnámbula) - Mr Macdonald. To conclude with the Turnpike Gate.
