| Description |
One of the earliest recorded events in the Hoyleton Institute. A union meeting was held in the hall delivered by Mr Robert Hogarth, who explained the necessity of retaining local parliamentary control of union matters, and a member of the central executive, Mr AW Robinson, dealt with the anomalies imposed by a federal land tax on local politics. |
