Acrobat team Bayly and Ross’s inscriptions on the Hoyleton Institute Hall stage doors associate themselves with one of Harold Raymond’s troupes. Harold Raymond, a blind violinist, had a long association with the Hoyleton Institute Hall, which began in 1929. Des Bayly and Ross Davies stayed with the Raymond troupe for about five years in the late 1940's, touring extensively throughout rural South Australia in the troupe bus. |
