| Description |
The play is based on the conception of the worlds first mechanical computer. Set in pre-victorian times while drawing thematic parallels to contemporary society, the play treats the premise of artificial intelligence. Through the life of Ada Lovelace (daughter of the poet Lord Byron) and her meeting with Charles Babbage (inventor of The Analytical Engine), the story follows the discovery of infinity as a state of being confronted by the paradoxal limits of Body and science within the finite frame of a human life. |
