Description I, Peaseblossom is the story of A Midsummer Night's Dream as re-lived through the fevered nightmares of Shakespeare's most neglected fairy. Uttering only one word in the whole of Shakespeare's celebrated play, Peaseblossom is able to see what goes on without having to be physically present, thanks to his magical abilities. Through the innocence of Peaseblossom, the audience is invited to share his discoveries about the complicated affairs of grown-ups, and understand more about the story of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
