Description Loosely based on the story of Romeo and Juliet, the story has been adapted to concentrate on the conflicts between to rival gangs in New York City, the Americans ("Jets") and the Puerto Ricans ("Sharks"). This production was the Coastal debut of this great musical classic with contemporary staging and choreography.
