Most members of the Thai Classical Dance Troupe are graduates of the Bangkok College of Dramatic Arts, a well known educational institution established in 1943. Their duties are to study, preserve, develop, promote and continue classical Thai performing arts such as the masked play (khon), the dance drama (lakhon), the folk dance and traditional music.. This performance Includes Drum Dance of Victory, The Floating Lady (a Masked Play form the Ramayana), Cymbals Dance, Ram Wong Dance, Si Nuan Dance, Dance Drama from the Story of Sungtong, Lightning and Thunder and Serng Katib Khao. |
