Description The "Big Gig" was created in 1992 by two school teachers from Narooma High School to overcome the geographical and cultural isolation felt by students of the Far South Coast. It provides an opportunity to showcase local talent in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere.

Each school that enters must produce a 30 minute show combining live music, dance and drama. Three adjudicators are present at each evening performance to pass comments on and score each performance.

On the first strike of midnight at Miss Olivia's Fancy Dress Ball a shot is fired and the mysterious Mr "X" is dead. Special agents Mully and Scolder are on hand to solve the murder by reconstructing the events of the day. Indira, Grant, Patricia, Conrad, Olivia, and Delores all have the motive of hate. Which one will Mully and Scolder discover to be the murderer?
