One of Singapore's best established and most popular theatre companies, Theatreworks has had an impressive history, presenting plays ranging from the classics, through adaptations of contemporary work, to ne works by young Singaporean playwrights. The choice of "M Butterfly" as the Festival production attests to the special relationship that exists between the company and Tony award winning playwright David Hwang, and the association that he has had with the Festival since his "FOB" was presented here in 1984. |
