Accounted the most important musical organisation in China today, the ensemble has performed not only in many parts of Asia, but also in Europe, American and Africa. The ensemble also studies traditional instruments and performance techniques, and has produced improved versions of some traditional instruments. For the Festival performance, the ensemble will present four different programmes of classical and folk music arranged for large Chinese Orchestra. |
