| Description |
Set in the early 1950s, the story takes place at the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory, where tensions rise as workers campaign for a 7½ cent pay increase. Amid the unrest, sparks fly between the factory’s new superintendent, Sid Sorokin, and Babe Williams, head of the union grievance committee—setting the stage for both a labour showdown and a romantic tug-of-war. |
