| Description | Each year Auckland Philharmonia players mentor aspiring high school musicians through lessons, workshops and rehearsals in this intensive five-day training programme, culminating in a fun finale concert that family and friends can attend.
In 2024, the Auckland Philharmonia teams up with New Zealand Opera to add drama and song to the Summer School programme with Red! This is a children’s opera based on the much-loved story of Little Red Riding Hood, with a twist. Red! is all about standing up to bullying, finding independence and the power of inter-generational relationships. Gather your whānau – your tamariki will love this. |
