					| Description |
Sholom Aleichem, Yiddish literature's most beloved author, was one of the very few modern writers speaking for an entire people. Born in Russia in 1859 as Solomon Rabinovitz, he died in New York in 1916. This play is about the writer and explores the life of the Jewish shtetls in Czarist Russia, wiped out after World Wars I and II. |
