Description Poroporoaki. A time for reflection, storytelling and celebration before we lay our loved ones to rest.

Nau mai haere mai & join us as the Studio space becomes a wharenui in which our cast reflect on their experiences with their grandmothers as LGBTQIA+ diverse Polynesian people.

With stories of love, acceptance and rejection, My Kuia promises laughter and tears as it weaves inter-generational connections through multi-disciplinary storytelling.
